IAG-2 - BGA - Digesting algae - DNA
The image shows the algae-growing reactors in a testing set-up. Clearly visible are the risers in the
centre of the reactor. They produce the liquid flow to make the reactor well-mixed.
On this page information will be given on determining micro-organisms with the help of DNA-technology.
Both Bioclear and Hanze-Alife are working at the moment to investigate on the contents of one of the
PROCES-digesters.
This will be the first attempt known to look into digester digestate and try to identify the microbes.
